I became involved with the First Responders from the formation of the group in Caistor, I realised the need for emergency help living in a rural area and the delay which can occur. I trained as a First Responder then as a Intermediate with a high occurrence of incidents in the local area. I also am responsible for putting together the rota for each month. Unfortunately I am the only female responder in Caistor but the support we get from the emergency services and each other is invaluable. I feel it is important to give as well as take from the community such as Caistor,
