Mick
Coordinator & Intermediate

I spent eight years in the London Ambulance Service in the 70s.
I dealt with every thing you can think off, Explosions, R.T.A,s, Stabbings, Shootings, Falls from high buildings, Overdoses, Stabbings, Burns basically any trauma you can think of.
I delivered eight babies or rather helped the mother deliver them, some in difficult circumstances i.e. cord around the neck, baby down a toilet, breech birth, luckily all survived my attentions.
So when I had the chance I joined Caistor First Responders to use my skills to help the people of Caistor and surrounding areas and to keep up those skills.
I have learnt a lot in the training of First Responders as the basics do not change but the application of them and the much improved equipment has.
I think we have a grand team here and am proud to be one of them.
